Starting September 1st, NYC Care is now available citywide to continue to help bridge health disparities and make all New Yorkers healthier as our communities continue to face the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. ALL New Yorkers in the five boroughs who cannot afford or who are not eligible for health insurance will be able to enroll in NYC Care and access to comprehensive and affordable primary, preventive and specialized health care at NYC Health and Hospitals locations citywide. NYC Care members get a dedicated primary care provider and access to affordable health care services, including mental health care and 24/7 affordable medications and customer service.

A NYC Care primary care doctor will help more New Yorkers stay healthy, and so will getting a FREE, safe and confidential COVID-19 test available at hundreds of locations citywide. To find a location near you, text “COVID TEST” to 855-48 or visit nyc.gov/covidtest.

NYC Care and the NYC Test & Trace Corps are partnering at 7 outreach locations citywide to make sure New Yorkers know how to access comprehensive health care and get a COVID-19 test. You can volunteer at our Day of Action and help New Yorkers get #NYCCare and #FightCOVIDNYC!

On Tuesday’s Day of Action, we’ll be posting on social media, emailing  and texting tens of thousands of New Yorkers and fanning out throughout the city to tell New Yorkers how to get access to comprehensive health care with NYC Care and how to get a FREE and confidential test for COVID-19.
